It is a highly-productive indica/sativa hybrid (50/50) which grows into a medium-sized plant with bumper crops of sweet, sticky goodness. Cookies Gelato resulted from a cross of GSC (Girl Scout Cookies) and Gelato.
Cookies Gelato grows well indoors and outdoors in regions where the weather stays good until mid-October at least. Its side-branching means that it responds very well to LST (low stress training) which will help to increase its, already high, yields. Indoors plants reach a height of 90 – 130 cm. and flowering takes 8 – 10 weeks with yields of between 550 – 600 gr/m2. Outdoors, where plants grow somewhat taller at between 140 – 180 cm, harvest in northern latitudes is in mid-October with each plant capable of producing 600 – 650 gr.
An earthy flavour with distinct citrus notes is dominant. Its effect is instant and is characterised by a euphoric head rush which is almost psychedelic in nature. The indica influence lends a gently relaxing touch after the first wave of energy evolves into something a bit more grounded.
